Article Title: Experimental and numerical investigation of heat evolution inside the autoclave for composite manufacturing
Article Snippet: The heat transfer through the solid materials and the cure kinetics were considered in the multiphysics COMSOL model, so they were omitted from the CFD turbulence model. Also, since holding stages (satisfactorily predicted by CFD) are responsible for most of the curing of the composite, the deviation from the experimental results at the end of ramping stage is of less concern.

Figure Lengend Snippet: (a) The output power measured experimentally for TEC cells with different electrode separation ( i.e. electrolyte or hydrogel thickness) as a function of voltage. Article Snippet: Using a comprehensive COMSOL Multiphysics model (Fig. S3 with parameters reported in Table S1, ESI ), we compare the thermal behavior of a conventional liquid electrolyte and a hydrogel-based electrolyte as a function of the electrode separations, while keeping the lateral dimensions of the cell constant (width W = 10 mm and depth D = 10 mm).
